Renting an Exotic Car in Tampa: What to Know First

An exotic rental is not a standard car rental with a nicer badge. The paperwork, the deposit, and the expectations are different, and knowing that in advance makes the day itself effortless.

Deposit and hold

Every reservation carries a refundable authorization hold on the card used to book. It is a hold, not a charge — the funds are reserved and released after the vehicle is returned and inspected.

Mileage

Daily rates include 100 miles per day. Longer routes are easy to arrange; tell the concierge the plan and additional mileage is quoted up front rather than discovered afterward.

Insurance and age

Renters provide a valid license and proof of full-coverage insurance. Select vehicles — the Ferrari and both Rolls-Royce models — require the renter to be 21 or older.
